Product Description
Comfrey (leaf/root) is used topically for its emollient, anti-inflammatory, and wound/tissue healing properties. Nicknamed "knit-bone" for its ability to unify wound edges. Contains silicic acid and allatoin, which help preserve the elasticity of connective tissue (e.g., bone and cartilage) and acts as a cell-proliferant, respectively.
Suggested Uses
Great for use in making ointments, salves, balms, creams and lotions. May also be effective in speeding healing of sore muscles, bone fractures, sprains, ligament tears and any damage to aching joints when used directly or added to a soak/bath.
