- Origin Chile
- Description rosehips grow in the south of Chile high in the Andes, near the ocean where there are low temperatures. The bright red rose hip fruit ripens from March through to June. Harvesters leave around 30% of the fruit on a bush to allow natural proliferation. Rosehips are harvested by hand. They are then dried in a heat air dryer. 5kgs of fresh Rosehip is equal to 1kg of dried Rosehips. Rosehip grows best in wild and remote areas.
