The process is like making a cake, in the mix is: cellulose, which is a building block of plants and is available as wood pulp, cotton, flax, rayon, hemp, etc. Sodium Chloride or common table salt is added to the mixture and is used because of its stability in shrinkage control. Then they are baked, compressed and cut to your end product.
